Owners and Operators
We work closely with the owners and operators of Hyatt-affiliated hotels to uphold our purpose of care, our brand identities and to advance World of Care at each of our properties. While we are a larger hospitality chain, we are still small enough to bring care to our engagements with owners and operators in a tailored manner. Additionally, we provide resources to owners and operators in order to extend our standards of values, quality and business conduct where appropriate.
Supply chain and vendors
We strive to work with suppliers that demonstrate leadership qualities relevant to our World of Care priorities in addition to those that come from diverse backgrounds. We extend expectations related to core business principles through Hyatt’s Supplier Code of Conduct and work closely to collaborate further. Since 2020 we have been annually expanding the use of EcoVadis for additional reviews of criteria important to World of Care.
Thompson Hotels across the U.S. and Mexico created Culture Lives Here, a set of collaborations with local talent to help connect guests with the art, music, fashion, design and culinary touchpoints in the hotel’s neighborhood and provide new opportunities for the local vendors.
Corporate customers
Hyatt’s sales team works closely with corporate customers, including discussing priorities of respective companies, and in many cases, we have shared goals related to environmental and social impact. We strive to coordinate where we can make collective impact by engaging our hotels, providing catered reporting, and advancing best practices in meetings and events planned at our Hyatt hotels.
